Edrei, is pronounced ed-ree-eye.  I grew up a military brat and after living all over the world, I "settled down" in Austin, Texas for undergraduate studies at The University of Texas.  After graduation, it was on to Philly where I began to write. This passion eventually led me to pursue my dreams as a filmmaker.

   

After graduating from New York Film Academy with an MFA in Filmmaking, I produced more than 300 hours of New Media content with Disney Digital, a scripted television show under Lifetime Movie Network, social media commercials for clients such as Beats by Dre, Nike, House of Hoops, and LA 2028 with Laundry Service and Cycle.

 

As a Line Producer at Solve, I worked producing the number one rated show on Snapchat, creating 90 minutes of content a month. Most recently I worked with BuzzFeed and Karga Seven Pictures and then Bleacher Report, where I produced content for Fortune 500 brands such as Gatorade, AT&T,  and GMC. 

 

I've also written, directed, and produced several short films. My short film, SISTERS, won 2nd place at the Capital City Black Film Festival and Best Original Screenplay at the Culture and Diversity Film Festival. In 2017, I was accepted into the Producers Guild of America. 

 

As a writer, my focus is on creating diverse content and smart, inspired films that empower.
